Purchased Medication For Generalized Anxiety

Therapeutically treating GAD
If treated with a therapy, the psychiatrist may employ ‘applied relaxation therapy’ or ‘cognitive behavioral therapy’. Both the therapies include some brain exercises which help you to manage your reaction to a panic situation or to problems.

Medication for treating GAD
Medication for generalized anxiety includes:
1. Benzodiazepines such as diazepam (Valium) or alprazolam (Xanax). These medicines act on the brain cells and are widely recommended to relive anxiety. The drug has sedative nature and your body can become dependent on the drug. Benzodiazepines should be sued only after consulting the doctor.
2. Traditional medication for generalized anxiety includes Tricyclic Antidepressants (TCAs) such as nortriptyline (Pamelor).
3. Busporin is also used to treat GAD in combination with other drugs. If the symptoms are minor then your doctor may prescribe you to use Busporin alone.
